Smoking is permitted in all the public places in Cancun ; hotels lobbies, malls, streets, clubs, bars, beaches, etc.

Most of the restaurant have smoking and non smoking sections.

At the airport you can find some smoking sections like in the fast food court steps away from the check point to the boarding gates and also in some restaurants. There is no smoking section at the international flight gates.

Cigarettes are a lot cheaper in Mexico than in USA or Canada and you can get a pack of al the mayor brands with 200 cigarettes for less than $ 13 dollars.
